Meudon initially became Farnborough’s twin town in 1972 after aviation and rugby links had brought the two towns into contact. Today, the rugby links have been revitalised and teams from both towns play in each other’s tournaments. Also, other interest group and primary school links in particular are very strong. Annual Christmas Fayres in both towns provide regular opportunities for new ideas and contacts to be made.

Meudon lies just a few miles south-west of Paris and has spectacular forests and green spaces. It also has a rich cultural heritage with its most famous son being the sculptor Auguste Rodin.
